EOI for Referee Program (13yo+) 2026

    Registrations close 31 Dec

Geelong Rangers are looking to train up new referees for junior competitions. Referees can start from the age of 13 years old.
If you are interested in being a referee, you will be fully trained by Football Victoria.

    There are two main steps:
1 - Complete the Football Victoria online course for new referees. This is a six module course, covering all the rules and responsibilities of a referee. This course is free.
2 - Attend a practical referee course run by Football Victoria. This course has a cost payable to Football Victoria. You will need to register via PlayFootball under My registrations.

Once you have completed these steps, you will be eligible to become a referee.

Please register your interest. Once we have a group of people, we can organise an onsite training program.
